Uploaded/created file on iOS app with multiple dots in filename gets suffix cut off

I just created a Jira ticket for a bug I found in the iOS app, but for some reason, after I created the Jira ticket, and got a notification message, I am not able to access the Jira ticket url (https://issues.alfresco.com/jira/browse/MOBILE-3366), but get:

Permission violation
It seems that you have tried to perform an operation which you are not permitted to perform.
If you think this message is wrong, please contact your JIRA administrators.

therefore I report the issue here:

————————————————————

Description:
On the iOS app, v 2.1.1 (487), I create a new text file within a site folder, I name the file "test.2.txt" (notice the two dots in the filename), and save/upload it.

Expected behaviour:
The file gets saved under the original name "test.2.txt" on the repository.

Experienced behaviour:
The suffix .txt gets cut off, the file gets saved under name "test.2" and the ".txt" is missing.
This behaviour only occurs when the filename has multiple dots in it. If I upload a file "test.txt", everything works fine.
This bug also leads to the app not being able to show the preview of the text file, due to the missing suffix.

The bug does not occur on the Android app.

Thanks for the bug report Mathias.

For some reason the JIRA security on that project has been messed up as I can't even see that issue! I've asked for it to be fixed as soon as possible.

Thanks Mike. I probably created a duplicate (should be MOBILE-3365 or so), because I submitted the issue twice since I thought something went wrong the first time already.
