What would the easiest way be to upload a large number of files into the Alfresco repository?

Hi ,
how would you like to upload? Manually (user triggers upload) or programmatically another application triggers upload)?
if manually, choose CIFS, FTP or WebDav Interface.
If programmatically it depends…e.g. UploadContentServlet and Web Service API.
Cheers,
Jan

Thanks! But my problem is really that I would like to upload a number of files from the Alfresco Web Client. I am using Enterprise 2.2, but see that it has been addressed in Alfresco Share 3.0 - Enterprise to be released soon - maybe I should just wait ….

Why specifically the Web Client?

Anyway, you can also import (More Actions / Import) a .zip file containing your individual files which will be unzipped into that space in the background.

Thanks,
Mike

Thanks Mike! I specifically mentioned the upload of more than file from the Web Client, because that is something a user would want to do - and we have a lot of non-technical users who want the easiest way to do things …
