Upload a directory tree

Hi,

The documentation only mentions the possibility to upload files and not folders what is perceived as an important lack for users.

Could you confirm that there is no way to import directory tree?

I have not seen anything about this in the roadmap.

You can use use bulk import feature of alfresco where you can create zip file of your folder structure and  import that zip file in alfresco.It will crate folder structure and will also upload all the contents residing under those folders.

Thanks for your reply but the solution you mention works only for Alfresco not for the Cloud version of Alfresco, not?

What you're hitting is browser limitations.

There are a number of other ways to upload directory structures: FTP, WebDAV & CIFS are all suitable options.

    I am working alfresco 4.2.1 i can able to upload bulk documents. I have one folder in that i created folder structures include some document with particular folder it is possible to upload that folder in alfresco. can we upload bulk folder in alfresco ?

for the  Cloud: uploading folders can be done via WebDav only - so if you is premium user - you can do it.

I cannot find anything in alfresco cloud docs.

FTP is not exposed on the cloud.   Like kalisto says above use WebDav for the cloud.

On premise simply set ftp.enabled=true in alfresco-global.properties
