I've tried to do a direct migration from 3.2 (not 3.2r or 3.2r2, but 3.2) to 4.2a Community, but that failed with numerous inconsistencies in Alfresco DB.
I wonder if previous link is for Community or Enterprise version.
I have a few questions: - IF 3.2 SP1.9 is Community version and IF it's really possible to do a direct upgrade to 4.2a, where can I find download location for that version? - IF previous assumption is wrong, what upgrade path can I use to reach 4.2a version?
You should be able to go directly however there are two pre-requisites. The first is that avm needs to be available so Shares config can be migrated. The second is the switch of the search subsystem from Lucene to solr.
