Hello,

I cannot find any information on uninstalling Alfresco from Ubuntu linux.  I am running Ubunto Server x64 10.04 LTS - how should I unintsall Alresco and Tomcat?

Regards,

just use the  "rm" command.      There's nothing fancy to worry about.

Hi and thanks for the reply.

"rm" where?  if more than once, how many times?

Cheers,
Trevor

Your uninstall depends on how you installed Alfresco. If installed using an installer then it would be on /opt/alfresco folder
just remove that folder. If copied the war and dropped into the tomcats webapps folder, then just "rm" the war file and exploded alfresco folder.
Hope this helps.

Uninstaller would be welcome!
There's much more going on than just the /opt directory. There are scripts created in /etc/init.d/ as well as /etc/rc*.d
