'Unable to find explorer'

Configuration client:

- laptop
- OS: W2K
- Browser: Firefox 1.5.0.1
- Alfresco Extension 0.9 with explorer location: "c:/WINNT/explorer" set

Problem:

When I click on "View on CIFS" (or on a file:// link created by means of a template), I get the error message: "Unable to find explorer, please check current options".

I did close and restart Firefox.

No I haven't yet restarted W2K. But I will have to in a minute (because my keyboard needs to be replaced).

Any help appreciated.

Looks like this is only a problem on W2K.

I tried it with success on a WXP platform.

Any idea why it would not work on W2K?

We have also had issues on W2K with the CIFS interfaces - it seems W2K have some long standing issues which are fixed in XP/Server2003. You may find that we do not support W2K as a platform much longer as it has numerous problems in this area.

Thanks,

Kevin

i solve it, it was just a problem of configuration.

I wrote "d:\winnt\explorer" but in fact it was d:\winnt\explorer.exe"
