Unable to find alfresco.log on Windows

Hi,

I just installed the latest version of the alfresco community edition but I cannot find any logging of alfresco. The file should be in C:\alfresco\tomcat\bin. I'm running just the service that is created during installation.

Can someone please tell me how to activate the logging?

Well, tomcat will usually also log to $TOMCAT\logs\catalina.out, or is that linux only?
Also, my alfresco.log files tend to be all over the place - I think from where I actually call alfresco. I'm not 100% sure of this though and I haven't been bothered by it enough to find out.

apparently Tomcat doesn't log anything when started as task. I was able to start is with startup.bat and then everything is logged.
