Two Nodes with same proprties,constraints, and associations

Hi All,

I am creating a folder in the document library of a site through a custom action in the datalist. The folder have all the properties of corresponding item in the datalist. That is each folder is for each item in a datalist. Now i want to change the properties in the folder and get it reflected in the datalist item and reverse also. Any ideas are greately appreciated.

The problem get solved by using  destinationParent.addNode(childNode);
