Tutorial and Presentation

Hello,

My first post on Alfresco Forum ! Smiley Happy

I'm sometimes thinking on how I could participate in the Alfresco community …
There is already so much documentation, screencasts, web pages and blogs on the subject that I thought it would be useless to participate … And then I have to be innovate …

But after my presentation on the ECM Open Source http://www.open-source-ecm.com/2008/06/open-source-ecm-in-few-points.html, I told myself that I could continue on the same way with Alfresco.

It is with great pleasure that I invite you to watch my new presentation on Alfresco. This is a small tutorial on the fundamental concepts of Alfresco. This presentation is not a reference, but just an easy way to understand Alfresco and its concepts!

You can find the presentation at the following url : http://www.slideshare.net/JM.Pascal/alfresco-in-few-points-node-tutorial-521030
and if you like it, don't hesitate to vote Smiley Wink

Furthermore, I have some summary about Alfresco at this link : http://www.open-source-ecm.com/search/label/Alfresco

Hope It will help everyone….

Best Regards.

Hello,

Wow - your presentation is fantastic, thanks for that!

We can definitely use all the help you are willing to provide.  You are welcome to contribute to the wiki, forum posts, blog.  As far as documentation, you are right we have quite a lot, but I think we can use always more tutorial-type explanations, since our Wiki typically focuses more on explaining how things work, as opposed to tutorial format.  Also, code samples are always welcome, if you happen to come across something.

Our community manager is Nancy Garrity, and I just forwarded her your post, so she'll probably reach out to you as well.

Cheers,

Jean
