Tree view component

I had seen tree view component on 2.0 and its wonderfull !
Do you think its possible that i add it in my 1.4 ?

Theoretically it's possible to add the tree component to 1.4 but there were a lot of changes made to existing components/beans to support it, so it would be fairly invloved.
