Hey all,
Wondering if there already exists, or how to add, a Thumbnail/webpreview purge/cleanup trigger for daily or weekly cleanup. (or modify the timing/frequency/age if it does exist)
I see the "tempFileCleanerTrigger" in scheduled-jobs-context.xml (in the .war itself), so what would you use for something similar in the shared/../extension location?

ok…is there some missing code/classes? I've reviewed http://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/Content_Store_Configuration, and looking through the javadoc there is similar node.cleanup, content.cleanup, and other packages but no org.alfresco.repo.thumbnail.cleanup.
Going through two most recent Alfresco published books (3.0 versions), nothing about how to pull this off.
I've been evaluating Alfresco for close to two weeks now, and I hope that of the multiple forum posts I've supplied at least one gets some type of response otherwise community forum rating for the eval is gonna be '0', luckily the blog posts and websites of other follow open source users have gotten me by on some areas. The community forum is what it is, and the responses are what they are.
(unless, of course, I should be posting to the developer forums as I've been posting to the wrong forums all this time – but do not want to cross-post)

So it seems like there is still nothing like that? I can imagine that removing old and unused thumbnails (typically PDF previews) would come handy at deployments where disk space matters...
