Alfresco does not - by default - include a transformer for converting InDesign documents into images for previews - as far as I know. You would have to either install or develop an extension to Alfresco that supports conversion of this file format.

I don't know of any ready-to-integrate products / tools to convert InDesign to PDF and Google searches don't turn up something useful on the first couple of pages. So far the only tool to be able to save InDesign as PDF seems to be the Adobe InDesign application itself. If that tool can be automated via command line interaction than you might be able to hook that in with just a little bit of configuration, otherwise it might require actual development.

Could you please give me steps to integrate the Adobe inDesign into alfresco application.
Right now I am trying to implement using ExifTool. Basically ExifTool is a command line tool.
I don't have any idea to integrate this tool in alfresco application.Could you please provide me the steps to follow.
