What 's the use of Events [Post] section of the Tasks panel in the Activiti Explorer 5.11 ? Can I use 'events'  say to 'signal a waiting process'  if I have admin privileges ?

No, the events is rather a 'activity stream'. People adding comments and uploading stuff will pop up there.
