System Overview

Hello everyone.
I wanted to know if Alfresco is possible to have an overview of the system that I have gone to create (sets of folders with rules, users, groups, etc..).
Let me explain better: I must create a space that describes the corporate network, broken down by region (secretariat, development area, technicians etc..).
Each area has allowed for different types of user groups, and each folder can have rules for simple managing flows etc.
What I wanted to know is, since the structure of the system is quite voluminous and complex, a comprehensive view of all, because even if you need to make changes to the structure need to know if I violating some rule anomalies in generating flows or other.
If anyone knows how I can handle this request, although knows the existence of additional tools or otherwise, I do know.
Thank you for your cooperation.
Bye.

Germano.

It sounds like you would like to do an architecture  / design review.  We (Alfresco) have a small consulting team that focuses on such requests on per hour basis - the services are offered ONLY around the enterprise edition of the product.   If you are interested, please contact sales@alfresco.com.

Hi german, hi Jim, hi rest Smiley Happy

actually, I would be interested in such a function as well, as about anybody, who has more then two or three spaces, where workflows might- or might not be designed. Currently I miss such a function to keep in touch with "what happend to my installation", meaning
* business rules
* workflows
* category assignment
* custom views used

My read of the OP is that German is asking for the tools to be able to conduct his own archietcture review rather than paying someone else to do it.

It is certainly true that an Alfresco installation can get pretty complex pretty fast if you are not careful and it is difficult to get the big picture via the web client.

So it would be neat to have a tool that crawls the repo and spits out all the relevant data so you can see at a glance if everything is as it should be. Its probably fairly easy to write and you could even make it test for integrity and flag violations of your content policies.
