System hangs when tried to preview a new web content

Hi,

I have created a simple project and added a xsd and xsl. I create a web content using this xsd and xsl,everything is fine so far. It even creates the .xml and .html files.
I can preview the .xml file, but when i try to preview the .html file, the system hangs.
There is no error logged as well.
I am lost.
Could some one kindly help?

Can you provide a little more detail on the characteristics of the hang?  Does your browser lock up, or the Alfresco or virtualisation server lock up, or does nothing appear to happen, or …?

One common pitfall when previewing content is that the web client will reuse browser windows for previewing, so if you're previewing asset A, switch back to the web client window (without closing the preview window), then click preview for asset B, it will appear as if nothing happened.  However if you switch to the preview window, you'll see that asset B is indeed displayed.  There's a JIRA ticket (http://issues.alfresco.com/browse/WCM-698) requesting that this behaviour be changed - if you feel it's important I'd encourage you to vote and/or comment on it.
