Storing additional information on content

Hello all,

I am searching for a way to store additional data on a document object.

My basic idea is to use the tagging-sample from the Alfresco SDK and to customize it for my needs.

So my question is: Is this the easiest way or are there more effective ways?

It depends upon your requirement.    I'm not quite sure what you mean by "a document object." that's not an alfresco term.

Alfresco provides lots of ways to "store additional data".   There are likely to be many options.

I want to store a little "text preview" for each uploaded document in my alfresco folders to index and sort every document automatically.

The main reason is, that I have not only text files but rather scanned documents and images.
