Hello,

Is it possible to use different lists of stop words for content in different languages.  It seems that, until now, Alfresco (Lucene) recognize only english stop words (even if the content is not written in English).

    Regards,

Hi

A bug was fixed on this issue quite a while a go.
This should be fine.
If will use the stop words for the tokeniser registered for the d:text type.

Cheers

Andy

Hi,

Yes I saw the JIRA issue AR-503 but I do not know how to obtain a localized search with the webClient.  Is it possible?  How can I specifiy the language in wich the content is written?  Is is by putting the "localizable" aspect on the content object and this specifying the locale?  If the content is already created when I put this aspect on it, will Alfresco re-index it?

If I develop my own user interface, how can I create localized contents and how can I launch localized searches?

         Thanks for your help,

                 Andre

Hi

At the moment localisation is defined in the model but not used.
The categories it would use are also not defined at the moment.

Everything is indexed according to the repository default or locale specific definition. Which means you can have all French, English or whatever but mixed will not work so well.

It is on the task list.
