startup script error on windows 2000

I'm installing Alfresco Enterprise 3.01 on windows 2000, it prompts a script error with following message:
bad option "-permission": must be -archive, -hidden, -longname, readonly, blah blah… while executing "file attribute $file -permission 00755" blah blah…
I didn't post the whole message as I think the problem is the first line as mentioned.
The same file was able to run on another computer running winXP.
Can anyone help? Thankyou.

just found out it has problem only on one of my win2000 box, no problem on anothers.
case closed, even dunno the root cause.
