Start Open Office as a Windows Service

I have OpenOffice 2.0 installed and would like to launch it as a Windows service.

By running the "start_oo.bat", I am able to launch OpenOffice and open port 8100 correctly. However, it will run only for the current session.

What is the better way to do this?

Thanks!

Hello,

You could look here: http://udk.openoffice.org/python/oood/

Thanks Steve, but on the website it refers to: "The daemon comes in version 0.1.0. It is in a alpha state, it has currently only be tested on Linux x86. It may run on other Unix platforms, but it is definitely known not to run on windows."

I am trying to launch this application as a windows service. I have tried SVRANY.EXE, but with no luck. I am getting "Service could not start in a timely fashion". Any other ideas?

Thanks!
