hi mates.. i have alfresco 4.2.a installed and will use online edit (via webdav) but it locks the file and says it cant be saved. any ideas?

Hello,

Online Edit via WebDAV is NOT SharePoint Protocol (SPP), but SharePoint Protocol is a variant of WebDAV. Are you really using Edit Online via the /alfresco/webdav endpoint, or the real SharePoint Protocol module of Alfresco? Do you have any logs that might show errors? Can you be a bit more detailed on the procedure you've used to get to the point of the lock + save error? Which client application did you use?
