Hi Everyone,
We are using alfresco 4.1.4 and some documents are not searchable using advance search. We have already tried re-indexing but it didn't resolve the issue,
Please share some alternatives we can use to make the files searchable. This issue is of Production so please help us it is urgent.

you need to provide more information!
what are the visible differences between a searchable and a non-searchable document? which aspects are set? what are you searching for.
since you seem to be on enterprise you should also be able to contact alfresco support.

Firsly I appreciate your quick response.
I am searching document by its name and it gives zero result, but document is present in a particular site.We have already tried Solr re-indexing but it was not helpful. We are using alfresco 4.1.4 so we can't have alfresco support.
Is there any way to find out how many document are not searchable in alfresco.
Thanks,
Fouad

so, if you upload a document "communityTest.txt" and you search for NAME:"communityTest.txt" you dont find it?
have you had a look in the solr console yet?
Connecting to the SSL-protected Solr web application | Alfresco Documentation
get details about 'alfresco' core. specifically fts report stats:
FTS Status Clean, FTS Status Dirty, FTS Status New
please post them or upload a screenshot

Thanks a lot for reply It was really helpful, We can know a lot of things Using Solr Admin UI.
I have imported certificate as per steps shown in documents for using Solr admin UI and successfully accessed it using this URL "https://localhost:8443/solr/alfresco/admin/ "But I am not seeing a lot of options, Please have a look on screen shots below.
This is my configuration in alfresco-global.properties of solr
### Solr indexing ###
index.subsystem.name=solr
dir.keystore=${dir.root}/keystore
solr.port.ssl=8443
am i alfresco 4.1.4 and it uses solr 4 . Is there a way to update solr admin UI or I did any thing wrong configuring it? please share you view.

thats not the solr 4 admin ui, you are probably on solr 1.4.1
=> try to find the info under 'Cores: Alfresco'

Can we upgrade only Solr from 1.4.1 to 4 without upgrading Alfresco?

Hi Markus,
We are planning to re-upload documents which are not searchable . Is there any way to find out unsearchable file name or node-reference, BY Solr admin UI we can only find number of un-index file but not name or noderef of Docs so that we can reupload them.
Thanks,
Fouad
