I just have a small Question

First i'm new in Alfresco and i should use Remote Web Scripts
I found in internet  /// AWPr (Alfresco Web Script Portlet rivet)// But i don't find any book that's really help me
Can i make Remote web Scripts using Java????? :?:  :?:  :?:  :?:  :?:
So tell me where should i start
