Slow performance of Alfresco on Windows

Hi All,

I have installed Alfresco Community 4.2 on Windows server and Linux server.

On Linux server, Alresco performance is good.

However, on Windows server, it is very slow. It's taking even 2-3 minutes to open the login page.

The resources on the server looks good as given below

OS: Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard
Virtual Machine
# of CPU's : 4 (99% available)
Disk Space: Plenty of Storage available
Critical events: None

I need instructions to improve the performance or to see where is the problem.

I will appreciate any help!

It's more likely that it's your VMs causing problems than windows.    First give the VM lots of memory.
