Hey there,

This might have caught someone else's attention, but when someone is invited to a site, all he can see in 'My tasks' is:

Due on 10 Aug 9999
Invitee Accepts
Accept | Reject | Cancel

Isn't it possible to show to what site the person is invited and to set a proper date?

Regards,
A.Thakur

This is a messy problem as we use a number of sites and a person may be invited to more than one at any time.  For now the only way to find out what site you are invited to is to accept.  Has this been fixed?  Anyone have a fix?

+1 for a better message.
An invitation message should at least say what site you're invited to, and it should also include who invited you and what role they are inviting you into.

Here it is
https://issues.alfresco.com/jira/browse/ALFCOM-2778

That's not the same issue.  We are concerned that a user does not get any indication what he is being invited too.  I have no issue with the invite displaying.  It doesnt contain any real info so if you are invited to multiple sites you have no way of knowing what you are accepting or rejecting.

Well it was this issue in 3.1:
https://issues.alfresco.com/jira/browse/ETHREEOH-1480

in which
Mike Hatfield added a comment - 15-Apr-09 05:50 PM
This bug is specifically against V3.1, so the "old style" invitation workflow.

See ALFCOM-2778 for the Labs 3.2 version.

hence I linked to ALFCOM-2778.

However there is also https://issues.alfresco.com/jira/browse/ALFCOM-3276
although that's a "minor improvement request" where ALFCOM-2778 is a "major bug".
