Site groups not showing up after upgrade

Hello,

I've just upgraded our version from 3.0 to 3.3 (community version). Among many other broken things, one of them is that I can't find site_NAME_Site_ROLE groups, ie. site_pbkpartneri_SiteContributor. There are maybe one or two groups that I can see. And when I try to create a group of that name, I'm told that the group with that name already exists.

Now, at 3.0 the groups were hierarchically ordered, like site_pbkpartneri was the root group, then under it were the site_NAME_Site_role groups (for Managers, Contributors etc).

Am I missing something here or it's just one more thing that got broken in the upgrade? How can I get alfresco to show me all the groups there are?

Please raise a bug with a appropriate logs (versions from, to, etc) and also (a) see if you can reproduce against a clean install of 3.0 and (b) if the problem occurs if you upgrade to 3.4a.  These details will help us prioritize and save time in diagnosis.

In the more recent versions of Alfresco groups are a member of a Zones.      There's a zone for user created groups and another for the internal implementation details of sites.

The UI only shows groups in the the "user" zone.

Ok, but I have some of the groups showing, and some not. I don't know why is that. Didn't get the chance to submit anything to JIRA yet, I will when I get a chance.

Anyway, is there a way to reach the Zones? So I can add/edit/remove members to site groups? At least programmatically if not through web client?
