Does anyone know how to shutdown your Alfresco Cloud site? I've removed all users and content that I can, but am not sure what to do next.

Hello,

delete the site from the "My Sites" dashlet on your personal dashboard - if you are the manager of that site.

Axel

and then remove the site from My Profile > Trashcan  (it will allow to recreate a site with the same name/url)

I should have used more distinctive wording - I want to shut down our whole Alfresco Cloud domain/account/network/environment, whatever the word is, not just a specific site within it.

Hello,

well - have you tried contacting Alfresco cloud support via the feedback option? Basically, if you have already removed all other users, you just need to have yourself removed and the network should cease to exists (no members).
Problem is, you can't really delete a whole network and ensure it will not be used anymore. Sure, all current sites and current users could be deleted, but every user is basically free to sign up again using the company email and this will re-creeate the network because it is based on the email domain.

Axel

Hi Axel. Thank you. Do you mean the feedback form in Alfresco Documentation? I will try that. I was hoping to not have to, as lack of responsiveness is one of the reasons we are moving to another platform.

The recreating the network thing shouldn't be an issue because our email domain changed, so it is unlikely anyone will sign up with the old domain. This is the main reason why we are leaving Alfresco; anyone on the new email domain is classed as an external user. We would have had to create a new network based on the new domain, and manually move all our content and users across, losing the history of all our content in the process.

Unfortunately, deleting your account is currently a manual process. You will need to email us at sales@alfresco.com and have someone delete it for you.
