Sharepoint Configuration

I am installing the alfresco community software.
Is this necessary to provide "vti.server.port"…etc to  "alfresco-global.properties" file for accessing a document (or) a file (or) a website from share point machine. If it is necessary then can you please tell me location of " alfresco-global.properties" file and send me some examples for how to configuring the share point support.
