Hello,

In the 4.2.c version the link <edit online> doesn’t  work, the los files are empty.
The acces with MS office by using the adresse http://My_server:7070/alfresco does work.
The 4.2.b version works perfectly with the same configuration. Alfresco is installed on a Windows 2008 standart edition server.

Thank you

Hi Florent, I apply your patch file and the edit online button is working now!! But I have strange behavior with versions when I edit online… example: I have version 1.0 of a file and press the edit online button, appears the Office and edit the file, save, close and in Alfresco I see 3 additionals files (versions 1.1, 1.2 and 1.3) with exactly the same info.
What happens?
It's a bug in the patch? or in other module in Alfresco? I need some help!! tnx a lot.

Hi,
Is it possible to give directions that apply to a windows install?
Thank you for your input on this matter.

David

I've tried to apply your amp as described but no luck:
<strong>03300000 Unable to load module details from property file.</strong>
Any idea what is wrong, besides the obvious? Am I missing something in the installation?
Alfresco 4.2.c, Postgresql on a Opensuse 12.1 (x86_64), using the shipped Alfresco Java installation.

Hello, I installed your Amp, and the edit online button now works. but now the "last documents" part, stop working, it says loading… and nothing happends after a time says error loading documents. Do you have an idea why?
Edit 03/05/2013
Was a problem with the tomcat java SSL. Just let me use the original one.

great solution
thanks FlorentDelannoy

Has anyone experienced this? Just completed a fresh, defaults-only installation of the latest nightly from http://dev.alfresco.com/downloads/nightly/dist/ (the Mar. 29th version of 4.2.d) in hopes of resolving some of the issues around Sharepoint… however, after a default install, I see that the vti.module is installed, I get the edit button, but Alfresco does not seem to be turning on the Sharepoint system - http://localhost:7070 does nothing, and netstat shows no listening on 7070 whatsoever. Is this a new bug introduced into the nightly that renders this advice obsolete?

Cheers

Hey guys,

This is my first go at Alfresco so any help is appreciated. I have alfresco 4.2c running on windows server 2008r2 SP1, configured with ldap-ad authentication only with no sso, or passthrough. Ldap authentication works sweetly, but the sharepoint part of things just is being naughty. I followed the steps provided in the manual for setting up online sharepoint editing of office 2007 documents adding the registry fixes and all that and the online edit button doesn't work. I followed emic17's steps to no avail after trying Mr. Florent Delannoy's steps (which made in alfresco install just stop for some reason and tomcat stopped working all together.) And I noticed that when I try to open a workspace created on the alfresco server in office 2k7 sp2, it asks for my username and password then says cannot open 'http://xxxxx.xxx.local:7070/alfresco'. is there anything y'all can help me with? In the logs there are these lines of errors:

<blockquote>

does this mean anything that I should be checking? Thanks for y'all help in advance.

Hi and thx FlorentDelannoy !

Can u fix this problem : https://issues.alfresco.com/jira/browse/ALF-17951 ?
I can't use nightly build because it's unstable.

Sincerely.
