share.war with share cluster

Hi,

Im trying to set up 2 x share web servers to point to a single instance of the main Alfresco repository.

I am aware I need to enable Hazlecast between the two share instances.

However when it comes to pointing the share instance at the main alfresco box, I dont see the web-extension directory and the web-extension directory and the share-config-custom.xml file to modify!

When setting up multiple share front ends, do I need to deploy the alfresco.war file too?

Hello,

you don't see this directory or this file because you have to create them yourself (when not using the installer). The web-extension directory should be contained in the shared/classes/alfresco directory. The share-config-custom.xml is typically provided as an .sample file when using the installer or ZIP bundle. But you can as easily start with an empty XML and an <alfresco-config> root element.
