Share - Sites temporary randomly unavailable

Hello,

We have a strange problem with Share. Every now and then Sites isn't available. Users login and get to their dashboard, but when clicking a link to a site nothing happens, they are stuck at the dashboard. And then suddenly all works OK again. This happens at least once twice a day.

Please advice!

Can you post alfresco.log?

This can happen if you run into "to many open files", there is a limit on the number of open files you can have in ubuntu for a non admin account.
