One of the serious gap I'm facing, when you want to move from Sharepoint to Alfresco Share, is the management of lists. In a collaboration environment, this is often crucial: todo list, issue list, bug tracking, risk log,…
I have searched a bit the web and seen many other people having the same request.

Do we have any idea if this is on Alfresco Share's roadmap? When could we expect such functionalities?

Thanks a lot

I agree it's an important component. It's on our Roadmap (http://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/Roadmap) but I can't give you a date / version as to when it might be implemented.

Thanks,
Mike

The side-labs open source project developed a SQL module for Alfresco which allows to manage dynamic data lists.
Moreover, webscripts for each content type are generated automatically from a model you just have to define through the graphical designer provided with side-labs. This model will indicate, for example, a todo list with task name and due date, a bug list with assignee, bug summary and so on…

Then theses webscripts may be imported as dashlets into web or share client.

The side-labs project also contains a more classical way to display data to respect the Share look and feel. So, a document list is available in which you can indicate your metadata in the same previoux way.
