share admin console for Alfresco Enterprise 4.2.1

I am evaluating Alfresco Enterprise 4.2.1 with a trial license, and am having a hard time locating the extended share admin console options.  I am logging in as the 'admin' account (a member of Alfresco_administrators), can click on the 'Admin Tools' menu option, and I see the list of options that were in the comunity edition (Tools, Content Publishing, Repository and Users and Groups).  I think that there is supposed to be a longer list, including the solr / facet config options.

I can connect to the Solr Admin (https://localhost:8443/solr) and the alfresco admin (http://localhost:8080/alfresco/service/enterprise/admin), but I was under the impression that there was a share-based admin tool.  Is there an AMP or something that needs to be installed beyond the vanilla Enterprise setup?

Our environment is RHEL 6.5, tomcat 7.0.42, postgres.  Alfresco was installed using wizard / binary.

Many thanks!

Dan

There is a link in the existing console, but, unfortunately, it links you to documentation. If you read the documentation it explains that the Enterprise Admin console is here: http://localhost:8080/alfresco/service/enterprise/admin

Sorry that it is so confusing.

Thanks Jeff!
I had seen that link, but when the url was pointing me back to the alfresco webapp, I thought that there was some other share-based admin tool.  I'm not seeing the solr-specific admin pages that let us define facets in Solr.  Is facet definition / display something that can be done out of the box, or does it require customizations?

Thanks again!

There is nothing built-in to Alfresco to leverage or expose facets. You may be able to work with solr to create facets but the product currently has a very old version of Solr (expected to be upgraded in the next major release) and you would then have to customize the UI yourself to show those.

Not impossible, it has been done by others as custom work, but just realize that it's all on you at the present time.
