Dear readers

I am doing a project plan comparison in setting up ALfresco for my company. We currently planning to set up 5 environments (2 production, 2 acceptance, & 1 testing). Can anyone please help this newbie to contribute reference for the amount of days needed to do any of these activities:
- training staff
- demonstration
- after go-live support
- project management (we forecasted 15% from the whole project time)
- contingency (we booked 10%)

Any of your input will be very helpful. Thanks

Initial setup for proving that Alfresco would do what we wanted took about 36 hours, as I had to learn enough about it to demonstrate it.

Demonstration of abilities took about an hour.

Our initial deployment of users have been using it for 100 hours+ now, and we're getting a good feel for it.  Internal training is starting this week, with the idea that we'll be doing a 45 minute overview session to introduce people to it.  Ongoing support of the initial deployment has been roughly one question every 3 or 4 days, some of which have necessitated research, others have been answered by the user asking the question after they played a bit more.

Thanks for your response. So basically the internal training that you set up for the company will be done 45 mins every day. But do you know how long are you going to hold this training? Because we booked 6 working days will be required. What do you think about this?

Cheers
