Hi everybody
I would like to know if there's a way (in Alfresco 3.2.r2 community) to send an email (carrying an attachment) to a specific space in order to store the attachment in that specific space (belonging to a user).
Could you please tell me how to do this specifying every step (because I'm a newbie)

thanks a lot Smiley Very Happy

The new email capabilities include the ability to access Alfresco via IMAP (http://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/Alfresco_Community_Edition_3.2😞
  Email Client Support via IMAP

* Emails clients can navigate and view documents and emails the repository via the IMAP protocol
o Email Message body displays dynamically generated view for non-email content including:
          o Metadata
          o Action Links
o View may be customized via Presentation Template
    * Drag n' Drop emails directly into the repository from email client
          o Automatic Metadata Extraction
o Automatic extraction of Email Attachments

You can find directions for enabling the IMAP protocol here: http://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/IMAP

Hope this helps.

I'm sorry, but I've searched and serched but I didn't find the file alfresco-global.properties to modify!
Should I create it?

another question, before enabling IMAP, i should enable both inbound and outbound email server?

The inbound and outbound email server is SMTP email, not IMAP.

If your alfresco-global.properties does not exist then yes go ahead and create it.
