Hello,

have you tried quoting your search query, i.e. "@DMS"? These types of characters are special for a reason and should not be used without the proper context.

Axel

Hello!!
Thank you very much for your reply.
It OK when search with  "@DMS". But only "#DMS" (# sign) is not OK.

Please explain me why it cannot search file name that are starting with special character.

Thank you.

Hello,

some special characters have special meaning in the specific search languages that are used in Alfresco. If such a special character is encountered without having been quoted, the search system evaluates them according to its rules, which may result in the query being either syntactically invalid or interpreted in a totally different way from what you expected / intended.

Even in quoted form there are some characters that may have special meaning, e.g. to define proximity conditions or sloop on terms of the phrase in a full text search. I am not aware that # is one of them, but I never had to use it to search for properly named files or other metadata properties.

Axel

If i search in share for 20288-de , I found the document. However, If I search 02-20288-de , I do not get the correct document.
I have already google for this. I tried "02-20288-de" with no success. What is worng here? and how can I make alfresco find document with complete title 02-20288-de ?
