Search Optimization

Is there any way to optimize the search engine in Share?
Right now that is the biggest complaint from my users. They search for a document with text which is in the document title and they get a 3 page result with the actual document they are looking for buried in page 2 or 3.

Needless to say, search is unusable at the moment.

I searched the wiki's and forums and can not determine if i need to change settings in some files to optimize it.
Does it search for text within a document as well or only within the title and description?
Can we do boolean searches?

Any help on the search would be appreciated.
Has this been improved in the latest version?

You can use AND, OR and NOT terms in the Share search - although try to be too clever with the syntax

You can also remove the full-text search by editing/overriding search.lib.js in the slingshot/search section of the Repository webscripts. Currently search checks for: full text, name, title, description and tags.

Our UX team is currently putting together wireframes for adding Advanced Search to Share, so it will improve over time.

Thanks,
Mike

Can you point me to the directory that this file might be located in?
I looked and can't seem to find the file.

Also, would the change require a re-compile?

thanks for your help.

Is this only in 3.2 ? Can it be used in 3.0?
