Search Inconsistency

[ben_geva]

Hi,

I have notice search Inconsistency while searching for JPG files in the alfresco.

In simple words, i am not getting the same search result even if i used the same search parameters.

Did anybody encounter this problem?

Thanks in advance,

Do you have a lot of images that you are searching?

The only thing that could cause this behavior is that permission evaluation is capped at a certain amount of time (default 10 seconds).  It gets cached, so it improved, but after restart, if you have a lot of conent, this means that the first time you do a search, you might get say 500 results, second time you do a search, 800, etc…
