Search based on metadata

Hi,

Is there a fecility in ALfresco, so that i can search the content based on its metadata. At present i have searched with the 'filename' as one of my search criteria. But the same can be done with 'metadata' associated with tht content inside alfresco.

I have added my own 'content type' and it have other attributes/properties associated along with 'created date','file name' etc.. like 'prop1', 'prop2'

How can i search the content insode Alfresco based on attribute 'prop1' ?

Anybody help ?

This can be done in the Advanced Search screen - you can search on various attributes and add your own to the Additional Options panel:

We intend to add the ability configure in additional and custom attributes to the basic search (e.g. so it might search name and description at the same time) in a later release.
