Running Activiti Rest and Activiti Explorer in the same server

I am newbie to Activiti….I am doing a feasibility study on activiti, as a part of that I would like to get clarified on the below doubts.

Please help me out


1. Can we have both activiti-rest and activiti-explorer run in the same server in a production environment. (Is there any chance of performance issue creep up). In that case can we configure a single activiti engine for these two applications pointing to the same Database.

2. Please quote some real time implementations of activiti.

1) yes, (performance issues - it depends on the app/solution…..)

2) We are conducting a feasibility study on Acitivti for one of the leading Fortune 500 companies. As a part of that our management wants a list of companies who are using Acitviti in production to put a proposal in front of the client. Could you please provide list of major Organizations who are already using Avctiviti in production?
