Rule by time???

Hi. My question is:
Is it possible to change the Java Base in that respect, that it is possible that the Space actualises his Content himself, depending on a time space (i.e. every five minutes???)
I´m aware of the Content rules and their use, but for our application we´re developing it would be great if the Space/user etc. would, like a mail program, frequently check for new content refering to its folder.
Is that possible in general?
Thanks for reply.

Hi

You can create scheduled actions - these are only in config at the moment.

Thank you for answer. Does this mean that these schedules can be modified by changing the config files, that define the "regular rules"?
The principle of Alfresco is the perspective from the Admin.
We would like to handle it "the other way round", as not to "push" content by the rule of spaces, but to "pull" it by the space of the user.
Do you get what I mean? And this according to a certain timer would be the best solution, thats why i´m asking.

Thanks for your replies…

Hi

I think the best way you can do what you want is via scheduled actions. It would also be possible to set up some timed jobs that did stuff via FTP or CIFS. It depends on what functionality you need to get at in the repo. If the behaviour is complex, you may end up needing your own custom action to invoke or to use JavaScript.
