RM as an API

Sorry if it's a naive question.
Alfresco Record Manager does provide the possibility of integration via API? i mean, is it possible to use all functionality of Alfresco Record Manager in a programmatic way via API or via some protocol?

Thats apply for the two solutions, community and commercial?

I've seen quickly the wiki and some docs, and my concern is that the integration in that way can only be achieved with Alfresco, but not with the Alfresco Record Manager.

The Alfresco RM module is just an extension to the core services and API's available in the Alfresco Repository.

We use the same techniques and building blocks as the rest of Alfresco.

It should be possible to use the services provided in a programmatic way.

Hi Roy,

It would be great if you could give some information around what the capabilities are, like are capabilities provided via Javascript (e.g for use in scripts with rules) or are they only available via Java integrations, and what are the services exposed?  Are they exposed as public APIs or are they internal only etc.
