RM and Triggering Events ?

I've read through the doc's ….. How do you kick off an Event?

There is a set of predefined events which you can put in the Disposition of the Category but, how can you kick them off ( Trigger them ) ?????

Events are triggered either on the folder or the record depending on the disposition schedule. To trigger an event on the folder; view the folder details and on the left will be a panel that allows event completion for suitably priviledged users.
