Restricting a user to a specific site, and no MyDashboard

Is there a way to invite a user to a site but to disable their MyDashboard so that whenever they login they go directly to that specific site dashboard instead?

That is a customization I am also really interested in ! The goal is to be able to have some clients that access one Share site, but do not see other private sites !

We will probably try to implement that on our side if no solution is planned in a future release, maybe we could share code !

Share already supports private sites, so I expect you mean "public sites limited to a set of users"..?

Multi-Tenant support is currently being implemented and should be in 3.2, so hitting HEAD sometime towards the end of April - I suspect that would meet your requirement.

Thanks,
Mike

by private site do you mean they have access to one site only and do NOT have a MyDashboard option?

No - it's not a user-oriented property (which is what I believe you're asking for). A Site can be "public" or "private". Private sites do not show up in the Site Finder unless you're a member. With 3.2 we'll also be introducing Moderated Sites, but this also won't meet your requirement.

I think you'll have to do some customisation, as your use case isn't one we're looking at ourselves.
