I have an issue where by the repository hangs on startup with no errors in the logs. After trying everything as I stated <a href="http://stackoverflow.com/questions/16383436/alfresco-tomcat-hangs-during-startup?noredirect=1#commen...">on this stackoverflow thread</a> I gave up earlier and installed on my osx. Which worked until I restarted and it started exhibiting the same symptom(s). I will say that however the processor resources consumed are quite high when it hangs on both systems. UPDATE: After about 30mins the repo tomcat starts with no errors in the logs whatsoever.
