I would like to store all data of enterprise in Alfresco. I just have questions about the concurrence (lock on file when edit).
As I know, there is four ways to lock files : 1) Using CheckIn/out using the CIFS. I think that if could be dangerous because user can forgotten to do this checkIn. 2) Using the Web Interface (Share) download document, and after upload new version 3) Using the Web Interface (Share) online edit 4) Using Sharepoint protocol (in MSOffice)
Are there other ways to lock files ? Can we use the online edit with with files not MSOffice ? (ie : edit a picture with a software like Inkscape)
