Repititions of articles

Hi,

i am transferrinh on article from one space to another space after the approval.

But when i create another article of the same name, after approval it also move sto the same space.

what i want is to give pop up like "same article already exist" when user create article in the first space of the same name.


Please help me  out…..ASAP

For that you need to customize the create content wizard.
Where you need to do changes in the jsp as well as in the wizard.

In your case wizard will be different so manage bean and JSP will be different but the steps will be same.

Hi,

i want to check for the duplicate articles in two different spaces….

while creating a content , after mentioning the name of te article, on next button it should give the alert as "article already exist"

i wnt to check it for different spaces.

creating article in one space and it should check it in other soace..

need reply urgently

Well, In this case as well you need to customize the create content wizard where after giving the name in first step when you click on next it will call the next() method of that wizard. So , you need to override that method and where ever you want to search you can search within that spaces for the given article name.If found give the appropriate message if not then allow user to create one.
