Hi all

Have this problem on my Alfresco 3.4d, using firefox and google chrome. Internet Explorer does not have this problem.

When I want to upload a file to Alfresco Share (for the first time after the server is restarted), it will prompt me for login again after I press Ok to start the uploading process

If I didn't login, the upload will fail

Below are a few tests

1. Launch firefox, login to alfresco share, upload a document -> login box poped up and asked to login
2. After key in the same user ID and password, upload success
3. Without closing firefox, upload the second document, upload success without repeat login
4. Close the firefox, launch the firefox and login to alfresco share
5. Upload a document, upload success without repeat login
6. Launch Google Chrome, login to alfresco share, upload a document -> login box poped up and asked to login
7. Switch to firefox, upload success without repeat login

Any idea where should I check?

thanks!

I've never seen a login dialog box pop-up when using the Flash uploader (or any other time).

Do you have some domain policies applied? Restricted Flash permissions? Cookies blocked? What about if you disable Flash and use the HTML uploader?

Note there are known problems when trying to use Flash to POST over https links (except when using MSIE). This is an Adobe bug that they seem reluctant to fix.

Thanks,
Mike
