Hi,
I installed Alfresco 3.2r, and then records managament module. (Windows platform)
I could successfully add the RM dashlet, create the RM site, and "Load Test Data" worked fine. (logged in as the admin user)

When I click on the "Management Console" link, the page opens but I get the following message on all pages inside the RM Console:
"Access Denied - additional permissions are required to access this component."

I think i missed something - what should I do?

I am using Alfresco 3.2r2, and the Records Management Administrators groups does not show up.  Anyone seeing this?  Any clues?

I am seeing the same issue. Using 3.2r2 on Windows XP. Did a fresh install of Alfresco followed by install of community version of Records Management. Don't see the RM Admin group and cannot access the RM console. Any idea what is going on?

Have you added the RM dashlet to your dashboard?

I had a similar problem in trying to access the RM module when I first started.  I posted the steps I took to get it started here: http://forums.alfresco.com/en/viewtopic.php?f=51&t=23028&start=15#p79218

There is also a more detailed, although I found to be somewhat technical, installation guide available through the Alfresco Community Documentation folder http://www.alfresco.com/community/.  The document I used is the Installing and Configuring Alfresco ECM Community Edition 3.2r2.

Yes I did install the dashlet in my dashboard. I found the post you reference and followed the directions. I can see the dashlet but cannot access management console and do not see the RM admin group.

It would seem that you need to create a Records site before the RM groups appear. Once the records site is created you see the additional groups:
Records Management Administrator
Records Management Power User
Records Management Records Manager
Records Management Security Officer
Records Management User

I'm on Alfresco 4.0.2. I installed RM, created RM site, and loaded test data.  The roles that are showing up are only the standard share roles: Manager, Collaborator, et al.  When I assign a user the manager role, they show up on the RM User Rights report as Administrator, and when I assign a user the Collaborator role, then show up in the RM User Rights report as a User.  There is no way for me to assign a user the Records Manager or Security Manager role, as the dropdown in the Members page of the RM site only shows the standard share roles.

Anyone else experience this?  I there a file missing somewhere?
