Recommended setup for a 10 user demo

Hey guys, I'm trying to find some information from you all who are familiar with setting up alfresco.  I'd like to demo the product in house to our staff, and wanted to know what would be a good setup for about 10 users.  I'm currently on a Linode vps with 720 megs of ram and a fresh install of lenny 64 bit and the program refuses to start, I checked catalina.out and it's stating I'm out of memory.  I installed linode by using the installer in the downloads area for linux.

For 10 users, an you please advise what would be a good setup?

720 Megabytes is pretty small.

I would suggest starting with at least 2 Gigabytes.

I am not clear what "vps" means? If you mean someone that provides virtual servers, then, no, I can't help with that.

I used my desktop machine, a Windows XP with 3 Gigabytes of memory to set up a functioning Alfresco environment. It had quite good performance right out of the box.
