Rebuild preview and thumbnail

For unknown reason, a document preview and thumbnail failed to update after a revision.

Is there a way to force Alfresco to rebuild the flash preview and the thumbnail? Other than uploading again the same document revision…

Update the thumbnail generation web script to check the modified date of the document and thumbnail to force an update.

Which webscript(s) would I need to update to force an update of the thumbnails AND the web previews?

The problem I am having is that neither are being updated when I update a new version.
